This edition’s status
No advertising network, Google AdSense tag, Google Analytics script, affiliate identifier or sponsored article is installed in this edition. There are no ad clicks to solicit and no visitor profiles built for advertising.
Google Ads is a service for buying advertising; AdSense is a publisher service for displaying ads. Preparing pages for review does not mean Google has approved this site or an advertising account.
Standards for any future advertising
Any advertisements must be clearly labeled “Advertisement,” visually distinct from story cards, and placed so they cannot be mistaken for navigation, weather controls, save buttons or downloads. Sponsored editorial content must disclose sponsorship prominently. A paid affiliate relationship must be disclosed near the relevant recommendation or link, and paid links must use appropriate sponsored attributes.
The publication must not buy invalid traffic, click its own ads, reward clicks, hide advertisements, misstate claims or make readers interact with an ad to access ordinary content. Ads should not interrupt reading with misleading overlays or unexpected redirects.
Consent and authorization before activation
Before any advertising is added, the operator must obtain account approval where required, use the real authorized seller record, implement the consent platform and regional controls required by the selected product, disclose vendors and data uses, and update the privacy and cookie pages. The existing preferences dialog does not provide advertising consent or Google certification.
Google’s published requirements are available at AdSense Program policies, Google Ads destination requirements and publisher consent requirements.
