The Patriots' official schedule lists their Week 7 visit to Chicago for Thursday, October 22, at 8:15 p.m. Eastern. The listed national streaming outlet is Prime Video. That is 7:15 p.m. in Chicago and 5:15 p.m. on the West Coast.
Why a Thursday preview needs patience
This guide is dated October 18. The clubs' Sunday games precede the Thursday matchup, so next week's personnel picture needs a fresh check after those games. Sunday injuries and subsequent roster decisions can materially change the picture.
After those games, check each team's practice reports and final availability notices. Do not carry a Week 6 designation forward and assume it also applies to Week 7.
Make watching easy
Check that your television or streaming device opens the correct service before kickoff. If relatives are coming over, send them the local start time rather than just an Eastern-time listing. Turn on captions or adjust dialogue audio if commentary is difficult to hear.
For a tighter game, pay attention to substitutions and clock management late in each half. Those decisions offer useful conversation even when neither offense produces many highlight plays.
